Born September 19, 1917, in Hobbie, she was the daughter of the late John and Mary Bakalar Plencner. She lived in the Pond Hill area since 1944.
She was employed by the former Berwick Knitting Mills for 18 years.
She was a member of St. Mark's Lutheran Church, Pond Hill, and its Ladies Aide Society.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Robert L. Cragle, in 1969; a sister, Margaret Kelly, on May 2, 1997; and brothers Jack and Andrew Plencner.
Surviving are her husband, Frank Oshinski; children Loretta Blackburn, Reyburn; Jerome Cragle, Mifflinville; Mary Ann Kollar, Nanticoke; John Cragle, Sweet Valley, Ross Township; Mrs. Charles (Christine) Stankavich, R.R. 1 Nescopeck; 10 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and two foster grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday from the Heller Funeral Home, Nescopeck. The Rev. Frank Terhune, Interment will be interim pastor, will officiate.
Interment will be in St. James Lutheran Cemetery, Hobbie.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday.
