Julian Wesley Craft, 65, of the 4300 block of Liverpool Court, a retired transmitter supervisor, died January 28, 1990.
Mr. Craft, a native of Richmond, had retired from WTAR Radio after 29 years and from the civil service. He was an Army veteran of World War II. He was a member of the Virginia Table, Norfolk Savoyards, and a member of Tidewater Striders. He was a member of Old Donation Episcopal Church and a former vestryman of St. Stevens Episcopal Church.
Survivors include his wife, Ann Dunn Craft; seven daughters, Linda S. Bowen, Hampton Lea, and Ann Page Leahey, all of Norfolk, Janet Carter of Franklin, Barbara Windsor of Frankfurt, Germany, Lisa Garren of Cranford, N.J., Katherine Alexander of Virginia Beach; three sons, Gary Craft of Portsmouth, John Craft of Norfolk and James Lea of Charlotte, N.C.; his mother, Evelyn T. Craft of Portsmouth; two sisters, two brothers; and 15 grandchildren.
The funeral will be conducted 12:30 p.m. Wednesday in Old Donation Episcopal Church by the Rev. John H. Emmert. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery. Kellum Funeral Home, Bonney Road Chapel, is handling arrangements.
Memorial donations may be made to the Foodbank of Southeastern Virginia.
