Mrs. Doughty was born January 29, 1944, in Baltimore, Md., and was the daughter of the late Anthony and Josephine (DiCarlo) Cozzi.
She retired after 20 years with Bell Atlantic as a telephone operator and a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in New Freedom.
Mrs. Doughty is survived by a daughter, Joann V. O'Connor of Shrewsbury; three grandchildren, Abigail, Adrianna and Jacob; two sisters, Gloria and Yolanda Cozzi both of Baltimore; two brothers, Vincent Cozzi, Sr. of Baltimore and Albert Cozzi of Florida; and several nieces and nephews.
There will be no viewing. Following cremation with Workinger-Semmel F.H. & Crematorium, Inc., York, a Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday at St. John the Baptist Historic Catholic Church, 315 N. Constitution Ave., in New Freedom. Her pastor, Father Sylvan P. Capitani, will officiate with burial to follow in the church's cemetery.
