Pat Cozzens was was born on December 8, 1929 in Memphis, Texas and passed away on November 3, 2014 in Albuquerque, NM. Pat married her husband, Wayne Cozzens on March 6, 1949 in Clovis, NM.
Pat was a long time resident of Albuquerque and was the former manager of the American Federal Savings and Loan branch in downtown Albuquerque. Pat and her family were also involved with the Church of the Nazarene for many years. Pat was also an accomplished singer. Pat loved to sing in the choir and play the piano.
Pat was preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, Wayne, parents, James Smith and Mary Anna (Russell) Pullen, brothers, Jimmie Pullen, Garnett Pullen and Harry Arnold, sisters, Mary Maddox and Laverne Trussell.
Pat is survived by two daughters, Peggy (Larry) Winchester of Casa Grande, AZ and Carolann (Dan) Meekins of Albuquerque, three grandchildren, Matthew (Rebecca) Johnson of Mesa, AZ, Jeanne (Elijah) Trujillo and Jason (Alysen) Meekins of Albuquerque, five great-grandchildren, Cameron Trujillo, Charisma Johnson, Essen Pena, Veronica and Anthony Moreno and by several nieces and nephews.
Pat’s family would also like to thank Chris and Gwen and Hospice of the Sandias and Chris and Stephanie and their staff at Care Free Living in Albuquerque for their loving care of Pat.
Graveside services will be held on Saturday, November 8, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at the Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Wyoming and Paseo del Norte in Albuquerque.
