Adina Cox joined us on this earth on June 24th, 1989, in Portland, Oregon, and left us suddenly on Thursday, May 20th, 2010 at the tender age of 20.

She was/is loved dearly by her mother Leslie Cox, brother Stephen Smith, brother Anthony Cox and her twin sister, Catalina. Adina was born with vision impairments, along with several other disabilities. Adina was a fighter since birth. She was never able to see or talk, but that did not stop her from spreading love into the hearts of all that encountered this precious little girl. In 1998, our family moved to Nebraska. Adina had to make a transition between the busy big city, to small town life. Adina adapted well.

Susan Weber and Shelly Troyer became a big part of Adina's life here in Milford. Susan and Shelly are reponsible for getting Adina enrolled at Nebraska Center For the Education of Children Who are Blind Or Visually Impaired in the year 2000. This school became a life changing event for Adina. There she had teachers that were trained to assist her and her special needs and she graduated in 2010. Our family cannot thank all of you enough for everything you have done for Adina and our family. Our family knows that our little angel is up in heaven right now and can see us and will watch over all that cared so much for her.

She is survived by her mother, Leslie Cox, Milford, brother Steven Smith and fiance, Amy Taylor, Milford, Anthony Cox, Lincoln, twin sister, Catalina Cox, Milford, nephew, Sam Smith, Milford, grandfather, Robert Stutzman, Milford, grandmother, Linda Stutzman, Milford, many aunts, uncles and special friend and teacher, Susan Weber, Milford.
