Elizabeth was my Greatgrandmother. She practically raised the children by herself, as told to me by my Aunt Charlotte "Martha" Adams(she was named after her grandmother). Aunt Martha said that when the boys were unruly, she would wait until they went to sleep,then she would tie them up in sheets and whip them.
