Flowrine S. Cox was born to Alice Spencer and Gary Griffin in Virginia Beach, Virginia. She was predeceased by her husband; Buddy Lonzy Lee Cox, Sr. This blessed marriage produced six lovely children: Mattie B. Dawson (Wardell), Sonny Lonzy Lee Cox, Jr. (Lena), Zella Mary W. Wilson (Robert), Larry A. Cox (Elnora) and Patricia A. Lewis (Barry) whom preceded her in death. She is also survived by a very special daughter-in-law, Paula Crudup (James), eleven brothers, three sisters and twenty-four grandchildren, seventy-five great and great-great grandchildren. A vast host of nieces nephews, cousins, family and friends.
The funeral will be held Friday, May 18 at 12 pm at Pleasant Ridge Church of Christ. The burial will be in the church cemetery. Beach Funeral and Cremation Services is in charge
