She had been a resident of Ross County for 48 years. In 1907 she married Granville Cox. She was a member of the Church of Christ in Christian Union on North High Street.
Surviving, besides her husband, are three daughters, Mrs. Marion Allen, Mrs. William Allen, and Mrs. Kenneth Orville Moody; four sons, Ernest Cox, Ralph Cox, John Cox, and Darrel Cox; two sisters, Mrs. J. L. Thornton and Mrs. E. L. Clark; and three brothers, Manon Maxson, George Maxson, and James Maxson.
Service will be held at the Jefferson Avenue Church of Christ in Christian Union at 2 p.m. Monday. Burial, under the direction of the Fawcett Funeral Home, will be in Greenlawn Cemetery.
Friends may call at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Orville Moody, Route 4, after 6 p.m. Saturday.
