NORTH MANCHESTER — Cleon L. Cox, 76, 1208 W. Fourth St., North Manchester, died at 2:10 p.m. Monday, Nov. 12, 2001, at Parkview Hospital.
He was born on June 3, 1925, in Columbia City, to George and Myrtle (Pew) Cox. He married Beulah "Goldie" Bradley on Jan. 28, 1967. She survives.
He was employed at Majestic, Huntington, for 17 years, and retired from Grandstaff Rendering after 12 years service. He was a member of the Gospel Hill Pentecostal Church of God, Silver Lake.
Also surviving are three daughters, Sandra Rivera, Clinton, Tenn., Mrs. Jerry (Diane) Rosbrugh, Pierceton, and Gloria Parker, Warsaw; three stepdaughters, Mrs. Noel (Judy) Kamp, Mrs. Rick (Linda) Miller and Mrs. Warren (Gloria) Lease, all of Rochester; five grandchildren; eight stepgrandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and 19 stepgreat-grandchildren. Five brothers are deceased.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at the Gospel Hill Pentecostal Church of God, Silver Lake. The Rev. Frank Whitaker will officiate. Burial will be in Oaklawn Cemetery, North Manchester.
