Helen Pearl Cox Wilde, age 78, passed away on Sunday, March 1, 2009 in Payson, Utah.

She was born September 14, 1930 to Ellsworth William Cox and Arloia Jones Cox in Myton, Utah.

She married Vernon H. Wilde on April 17, 1964. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake Temple. Helen was a loving, giving person who always thought of others before herself. She loved to dance, and also enjoyed camping and traveling.

Her greatest joys were spending time with her husband, family, and dog Cocoa. Helen had a special gift of being able to reach out to people and let them know they were loved and cared for.

It was evident by the many phone calls and visitors during her illness that she touched the hearts of many, and all expressed their love for her. She was most happy when her grandchildren came to visit; they were the love of her life.

She is survived by her husband Vern, daughters Connie (Bob) Kingrey, Lynn (Pat) Freeman, Karol (Carl) Foti, and Colynn Sweet, sons Troy (Shannon) and Doc (Sorina), 29 grandchildren, and many great and great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers Alvin and Glen, and children ReNae, Phil, and Ruth.

Funeral Services will be held on Friday, March 6, 2009 at 11 a.m. at the Spring Lake 4th Ward Chapel located at 1750 South 586 West in Payson. There will be a viewing held from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. prior to the services.
