Juel Cox Mishoe Cooper, 91, of Summerville, SC, former owner and operator of Juel's Florist, first married to the late William M. Mishoe Jr. and widow of David Cooper, peacefully entered into the arms of her heavenly father Tuesday. Her daughter, Anneece, held her and was singing old hymns prior to her death with nieces, Sivel Inabnert and Frances Brownlee, each holding her hands.

Mrs. Cooper was born February 28, 1921, in Lake City, SC, daughter of Rawley and Mary Godwin Cox. She was a graduate of Lake City High School and a long standing member of The First Pentecostal Holiness Church of North Charleston, and attended The First Baptist Church of Moncks Corner during her marriage to E.D. Cooper. She was owner and operator of Juel's Florist for many years and worked with Berkeley Florist of Moncks Corner. She was a charter member and the oldest YaYa Sister that meet on a weekly basis. She was truly a typical southern lady, with everything always matching to a tee. Her hair must have every strand in place and she continued to live independent until a year ago and drive her car. She loved having family gatherings and having all her nieces and nephews around her, especially the Cox brothers cooking her favorite fried fish and hush puppies. Jimmy Cox always made her his famous fish stew.
