On October 23, 2012 Ms. Carmen Cox, age 79, was escorted by angels to be with our Lord and Savior, who greeted her as she entered into eternal rest. While there are tears and heartache here, there is celebration and much rejoicing in Heaven.

Carmen loved people. She loved her friends and family to come and visit. Always wanting them to stay a little longer. Never ready for them to leave. One of her greatest joys was celebrating the holidays when everyone could be together.

She was a member of First Christian Church in Murfreesboro. She is remembered by her family as a loving, devoted mother and grandmother – gentle, kind-hearted and caring of others.

Ms. Carmen was welcomed home by her husband, Bernis Cox, her mother, Mable (Ring) Nutt, her father, Andy Nutt and her brother, Carlos Nutt, who are no doubt smiling now as they welcome her home and share a joyous reunion.

Ms. Carmen is survived by her sons: Jerry B. Cox and wife Kathy and Ronald W. Cox and wife Carolyn all of Murfreesboro; four grandchildren, Scott Cox and wife Christy; Chad Cox; Sabrina Cox Williams and husband Jim all of Murfreesboro and Michelle Cox of Little Rock; five great-grandchildren Hannah Cox, Jarah Cox, Dawson Cox, Loryn Williams and Cadyn Cox all of Murfreesboro; one sister, Maxine Endsley and husband Tom of Colony, KS and one sister-in-law, Sonya Nutt; as well as numerous other family and friends.

Funeral Services will be 10:00 A.M., Thursday, October 25, at Latimer Funeral Home in Murfreesboro, AR with Bro. Rick Green officiating, with burial to be in Woods Cemetery near Shumut.
