Freddie was born February 26, 1933, in Red Hill, Texas.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Burt and Ouida Cox, two brothers, Jimmy Cox and Larry Cox, a son, Roger Cox, and a step-grandson, J. T. Redfearn.
Freddie was an active member of Trinity Baptist Church and the Trinity Troopers. He was the retired owner of Quillin TV Sales and Service; was retired from Red River Army Depot; was a 32nd Degree Mason and member of the Masonic Lodge 341; and was a Veteran of the United States Air Force.
Survivors include his wife of 55 years, Beverly Quillin Cox; one daughter, Vickie Cox; two sons and daughters-in-law, Michael and Deanna Cox and John and Becky Cox; eight grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; one sister, Imogene Jester; three brothers, Harvey Cox, Richard Cox and Phillip Cox.
