ERWIN COX, 88, IS BURIED HERE
Funeral services for Erwin Cox, 88, were held Saturday at the Calvin chapel, Hartford. Burial was in Keeler cemetery.
A lifelong resident of this community, Cox married Dolly Nevitt in 1922. Mrs. Cox died in 1938. For the last 10 years, Cox has been a resident of the Shimer rest home at Watervliet, where he died Thursday night after a long illness.
The Rev. William Goltz officiated at the funeral and pallbearers were Mariono Wilkenson, Vern Wilkenson, Eugene Pomeroy, Clark Shimer, Don Gregory and Will Gould.
Survivors include a niece and a nephew and two cousins, Dean Foster, Keeler, and Newton Foster, Paw Paw.
