May 13, 1971 - September 27, 2013
Dallas, Texas

Tammy Lou Cox, 42, of Dallas, passed away on September 27, 2013. She was born May 13, 1971 in Norfolk, VA.

Tammy is survived by her husband Wesley Cox; her mother Donna June Phelps, three aunts: Donnella Heft, Debbie Moreno, Doris Harrington, brother Todd Farris and many cousins, nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father Glen Short.

Her love for her family was matched by her new found love of the outdoors. She enjoyed hunting and spending time watching wildlife on her ranch in the Texas Hill Country. She also loved fishing along the Texas coast and nearby lakes. One of her greatest passions was cooking, which she learned from her grandmother. A gift she loved to share with family, friends and co-workers throughout the year.
