My records didn't indicate that the Coxes moved this far West, but died in Sangamon County where their son Robert M. Cox my 3X g-grandfather was from. I was wondering if you had any records on this that you'd be willing to send to me. I lost track of Samuel and Sarah "Nancy" Woolfook after about 1837.
I have Nancy being born in Woodford County, KY abt. 1774. She is the daughter of Kentucky pionerr Sowell Woolfolk and Mary Netherland Harris-Woolfolk of the Lexington, KY area. The Woolfolks stretch back quite a ways in early American history. I have them well-documented. The Cox lineage past Capt. Samuel H. Cox is a mystery. I have no records of his parents.
Thank you for posting this information.
