Body of Nephi Cowlishaw Will Be Returned To Ogden.
Nephi Cowlishaw, aged 38, former resident of Ogden, was killed in a mine accident late Saturday evening, at Nevada City, Cal., according to word received today by relatives here. He and another miner drilled into an unexploded blast on lthe 1300-foot level of the Murchie gold mine.
Mr. Cowlishaw was born in Almy, Wyo., a son of Thomas and Hannah Cowlishaw. He had lived in Ogden for many years and moved only a short time ago to California. He was a member of the B.P.O.E. Surviving are a daughter, Helen of Moroni Utah, and the following brothers and sisters: Benjamin Cowlishaw and Leonard Cowlishaw, Kemmerer, Wyo., Mrs. Frank Rounds, Charles, Reuben, and George Cowlishaw and Mrs. Nellie Hodson, all of Ogden; William Cowlishaw of Sparks, Nev.; Frank cowlishaw of Los Angeles,a nd Mrs. Rebecca Milholland, Albany, Ohio.
The body will arrive in Ogden on Wednesday. Funeral arrangements are in charge of Larkin & Sons.
