Funeral services for Wayne J. Coverdill, 48, formerly of East Moline, will be 11 a.m. Monday at Van Hoe Funeral Home Ltd., East Moline. Burial will be in National Cemetery, Rock Island Arsenal.
Visitation will be 9 to 11 a.m. Monday at the funeral home. Memorials may go to the family.
Mr. Coverdill died Thursday, Sept. 14, 2000, at Mount Sinai Hospital, Chicago.
He was born April 10, 1952, in Moline, the son of Jim and Amelia "Sis" (Newbury) Coverdill.
He served in the U.S. Army.
Survivors include his brother, George Pagakis, Moline; nieces, Mandy and Christine Pagakis; a nephew, Nathan Pagakis; and an aunt, Juanita Newbury, Marseilles, Ill. His parents, a sister, Cynthia, and a brother, John, preceded him in death.
