Frances Cover Bellamy, 85, passed away Friday, March 12, 2010.
A third-generation native Houstonian, Frances was a 1941 graduate of Lamar High School.
In 1942, she married the love of her life, James T. Bellamy. Frances and J.T. were avid square and round dancers as well as world travelers.
She loved life to its fullest and loved her family deeply, especially those who have preceded her in death, her grandparents, Louis and Frances Gueno; parents, Edwin and Aline LePortier Cover; and her beloved husband of 61 years, James "J.T." Bellamy.
She is survived by her loving children, Allen Bellamy and wife Mariette, Mark Bellamy and wife Carolyn, Kim Bellamy Powell and husband Ted; grandchildren, Edward Bellamy and wife Lanette, Scott Bellamy and wife Christi, Geri Powell and husband Michael Robisheaux, Megan Bellamy, James Powell; great-grandchildren, Brett and Blake Bellamy and Ramsey Johnston.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm Monday, March 15th at Waltrip Funeral Directors where funeral services will be held in the chapel at 10:30 am Tuesday, March 16, 2010.
Interment will follow in Memorial Oaks Cemetery.
