Lillian Turner Courtney, a resident and native of Amite, died at 2:40 p.m. Sunday, March 25, 2001, at Hood Memorial Hospital, Amite. She was 86.
Visitation was at McKneely Funeral Home, Amite, until religious services, conducted by the Rev. Mike Woodard. Interment in Courtney Family Cemetery, Amite.
Survived by her husband, Otto Courtney, Amite; four sons, Milton Courtney, Prairieville, Marvin Courtney, Gonzales, Ward Courtney, Amite, and Don Boudreaux, Humble, Texas; a brother, Robert Turner, Baton Rouge; four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Preceded in death by her parents, Jacob and Rena Pulliam Turner; two sisters, Katie Stevens and Marie Curtis; and three brothers, Artemis Turner, C.M. Turner and Ivy Turner.
