Mrs. Billue was a native and current resident of Wilkinson County but lived in Tennille for most of her adult life. She was a graduate of Georgia State College for Women and was a member of Tennille Baptist Church for over 50 years. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Milledgeville. She was preceded in death by her father and mother William Cosby and Ethel Bloodworth Council, her husband Robert Billue, and brother, Julian Council. She was a member and past president of both the Tennille Garden Club and the Tennille Fine Arts Club.

Survivors include her son, Robert F. Billue (Sylvia) of Aiken, SC; a daughter, Jan Wynne (Bob) of Sandersville; sister in law, Lucy S. Council, of Milledgeville; 5 grandchildren; Robb Billue (Laura), Chris Billue (Dee Dee), Elizabeth Wynne Hart (Bo) Marshall Wynne, Schrinner Wynne; 3 great-grandchildren; Brice Billue, Bree Billue and Ella Hart, two step-granddaughters Nikki Tate (Cain) and Michelle Orr (Ryan).
