Clarence was the son of William J. and Ada Carter Coulter. He was survived by his parents, siblings Albert, Luther, Ernest, John, Gladys, Alice, Mary and Lawrence, grandmothers Julia Gordon Coulter and Penelope Blessing Carter, two nephews, and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
Clarence was predeceased by two sisters, baby Margaret in 1908 and Annie Fry in March 1915.
Clarence was employed by the B&O Railroad at Brunswick. His sister Mary recalled that her brother died of blood poisoning after having a tooth pulled.
