74 years, of Guadalupe, AZ. entered into heaven surrounded by her loving husband, her children and family September 3, 2012, after a short battle with acute lymphocytic leukemia. She was preceded in death by her baby daughter Frances, her parents Federico & Aurora Cota, her sister Ruth (Cuca) Figueroa, and her brother Fred Cota. Armida is survived by Henry, her beloved husband of 55 years, children Henry Bandin Jr., Aurora (Ruben) Valenzuela, Veronica (Dovar) Flores, Monica (John) Kinney, Armida (Tony) Ibarra, and Albert (Marissa) Bandin, sisters Josephine Martinez, Nellie Lopez, and Lori Cota. Her greatest joys were her 21 grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandchild. Each one was her Favorite. Armida retired from Motorola after 32 years, and 5 years at Tempe School District No. 3 where she made many friends who loved her and will miss her. Services will be held September 15, 2012, at 10:00 am, Holy Spirit Church, 1800 E. Libra Dr., Tempe. Arrangements entrusted to Family Burial & Cremation Center, Mesa, Arizona. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to your local blood bank.
