COTTRILL, Warner B. 66, of Clayton, passed away Friday July 23, 2010. He was born in New River, North Carolina on June 12, 1944 and was retired from General Motors (Delphi). He served our country proudly in the U.S. Navy aboard the U.S.S. Mountrail during the Cuban Missile Crisis. Survived by his beloved wife of 40 years, Ruth Ann (Combs); daughter, Sigrid Ann Benton; son-in-law, William Michael; son, Brad Lee Armstrong; 3 grandchildren, Lauren, Brittany & Hunter; 2 great grandchildren; sister, Elsie Cottrill. Funeral service 6:00 p.m. Thursday at the GEORGE C. MARTIN FUNERAL HOME, "North Dayton Chapel," 5040 Frederick Pike at Needmore Road. Cremation to follow. The family will receive friends Thursday from 4-6 p.m. at the George C. Martin Funeral Home. Condolences may be shared at www.georgecmartinfuneralhome.com.
