Chambers County ML V5 #617 issued to Israel Cottle & Elizabeth Stephens on January 17, 1861.

==========

"The LaFayette Sun", May 15, 1892:

The funeral sermon of Mrs. Bettie Cottle, who died about four months ago was preached yesterday, 15th of May, by Rev. John Cumbee at Bethel Church to a large and attentive concourse of people. His subject was the twenty-first chapter of Revelation, the latter clause of first verse, his main text was well mastered and showed ability and skill. That this good lady was greatly beloved and has left behind many tender remembrances and devoted friends was clearly demonstrated by the unusual crowd that attended this, the last tribute of respect to her memory.
