Burns Prove Fatal
Last Rites at Residence to be held Tomorrow for Miss Agatha Cosby
Rites will be held tomorrow at 2 pm at the residence of Phillip and Lucy Schmidlapp, four miles west of Deputy for Mrs. Schmidlapp's daughter, Agatha Cosby, 28, who died Monday at 10 pm from burns. Burial will be in the Springdale Cemetery in this city.
Miss Cosby, who was an invalid, was fatally burned Monday morning when flames from a fireplace in the family home, ignited her gown. She was home alone at the time and in her excitement, ran outside. Her mother, who was outside, had difficulty in extinguishing the flames with a bucket of water. Surviving besides her mother and step father, one half-brother, Elbert, in the US Army at Rapid City, SD. Miss Cosby had resided in Graham Twp. All of her life.
