Mrs. Anna Badgley, 70, died at 3:30 a.m. (CDT) today at the
home of her daughter, Mrs. Lee Voorhess of route 1, Bringhurst. She had been in ill health for about two years.
The body will lie in state after 7 p.m. (CDT) today at Youngs
Funeral home. Funeral services will be conducted from Young's
at 2 p.m. (CDT) Wednesday by Rev. James J Ratcliff of Kemp
Methodist church, with interment in Fairview cemetery.
Mrs. Badgley was the former Miss Anna Corwin, born on Jan.
10, 1885, to Martin and Rose (Mahern) Corwin, of Lafayette. She
was married in 1909 to Fred Badgley, of Tipton, who died on Sept. 11, 1953. Mrs. Badgley's most recent residence was at 803 North East street.
Besides the daughter at Bringhurst, the Tipton woman is survived by a sister, Mrs. M. J. Armstrong, Lima, Ohio; and three sons, Charles and Cleo Badgley of.Tipton, and Roy Badgley of Petersburg, Va. Mrs. Badgley also left
five grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
