Mrs. Corson Dies; Funeral Is Monday
Mrs. Stella Mae Corson, 68, RR1, Atchison, died early Saturday morning at Cushing Memorial Hospital. She was the wife of Clarence Corson, well known farmer and stockman of Easton Township. Mrs. Corson had been in failing health for the past two years and had been in critical condition since going to the hospital Feb 5.
Mrs. Corson was born at Springdale, Kan., Dec. 18, 1885. She was the daughter of Ernest and Amelia Deppe Rose. On Feb. 17, 1926 at Liberty, Mo., she married Mr. Corson. They have lived in the Potter community ever since. Mrs. Corson was a member of the Potter Community Church, and the Potter Chapter, Order of the Eastern Star.
Besides her husband she is survived by two sisters, Mrs. Anna Brock, 738 Walnut, and Mrs. Nellie Ingel, Overland Park; two brothers, Ernest Rose, McLouth, and Henry Rose, Clovis, Calif., and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be Monday at 2 p.m. at the Davis Funeral Church. The Rev. John Hodge of the Potter Community Church will officiate. Burial will be in the family lot in Round Prairie Cemetery near Lowement. The body will remain at the Davis Funeral Church.
