New Albany Mirror 1915
A deep shadow has fallen upon New Albany because of the very sudden and unexpected death of Mrs. Glenn Allen Tuesday forenoon of this week. She was formerly Miss Arleigh M. Corson, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. B. U. Corson and was married to Mr. Allen only about a year ago. About ten days ago she became mother of a little daughter. Both mother and child were doing well, Mrs. Allen was sitting up for the first time when without previous warning serious symtoms developed. Her mother who was with her immediately assisted her to bed, and summoned the physician. But in spite of all that could be done life quickly slipped away. Aside from her husband and infant daughter, Mrs. Allen leaves her father and mother, one sister, Mrs. B. H. Johnston of Elmira, and brother Ivan Corson. The service was held today in the Baptist Church; the pastor, R. B. Longwell officiated. Interment took place in the local cemetery. The husband and friends have the sympathy of the community.

Note: Baby was born March 14, 1915
Note: Arleigh died on March 23, 1915
