MABEL 'RUTH' JOHNSON, age 89, died September 8, 2008, at Henry Ford Village, in Dearborn, Michigan.
She was born Mabel Ruth Corson on July 24, 1919, in Detroit, Michigan, to Clarence and Mabel (nee: Gill) Corson. She had been a resident of Troy, Michigan, was a former resident of Detroit, Dearborn, and also Sun City Center, Florida.
Education: Mrs. Johnson graduated from business college after two years
Occupation: She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and a caring homemaker.
Mrs. Johnson loved flowers, and she enjoyed knitting and crossword puzzles. She was known as the 'Mug Rug' lady for making coasters for mugs.
