He was an adjuster with insurance companies in West Virginia, Pennsylvania, Illinois and Florida for 30 years. He was a Navy veteran of World War II and a member of the VFW, Pinellas Park. Survivors include a daughter, Jean M. Cornwell, Pinellas Park. National Cremation Society, St. Petersburg.
