The death of Mrs. George Mehl occurred at her home on the Oswego road at 4 a. m. Sunday from tumors, from which she had been suffering for nearly a year. - Mrs. Mehl, whose maiden name was Hannah A. Cornish, Was born in the town of Lee, Oct. 1, 1843. She was married to Mr. Mehl Feb. 27, 1898, this being her second marriage. Her first husband was Henry Coonrad, who died about six years ago. Surviving are her mother Mrs. Charlotte Cornish of Lee Center, her husband, one son by her first marriage, Henry Coonrad of Rome, two grand-children and the following brothers and sisters, Charles Cornish of Tennesee, George B. Cornish of Syracuse, Ancy C. Lohnis of Omaha, Neb., Jessie E. Markham of Lyon Falls, Jennie M. Barnes of Port Leyen and Eva M. Cornish of Lee Center.
