Mrs. Fickle was a member of Clarks Hill United Methodist Church. She attended Tippecanoe County schools and worked for Eisner Grocery in Lafayette 15 years.
She was born November 8, 1896, in Clinton County. She married Ray Cornell in Danville in 1914, and he died in January 1958. She married Claude Fickle in Colfax in 1963, and he died in 1964.
Surviving are a son, Glenn Cornell of Lafayette; a sister, Mabel Brayton of New Port Richey, Florida; three grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren and eight great-great grandchildren. A sister and a brother preceded her in death.
Burial will be in Salem Cemetery.
