2nd Lt Issac Cornelius enrolled in the service on 27 Aug 1861 at Potersville, PA he was 24 years old. He was a carpenter from Butler Co, PA. On 31 Sept he was transferred to Camp Wilkins, PA at the rank of Sgt. On Nov 1 he was transferred from Co C. and promoted to Sgt Major. On Mar 4 1863 He was transferred to F.S.S. and promoted to 2nd LT. He died June 6 of wounds received at Cold Harbor, Va., June 2, 1864
