Obituary:
Mrs. China Cornelison Christopher, age 55, on Laurel St, died Monday afternoon following a long illness. She was a member of the Irvine Medthodist Church and had been ill since January suffering with a throat ailment. She went to Mexico and Texas during the winter months for treatment but returned here several months before her passing. She is survived by her husband, Irvine Christopher, an employee in the car department of the L&N shops, Ravenna; 2 sons: Walker (Sonny) & Irvine Wallace of Irvine; 4 sisters; Mrs. Eva Clouse of Detroit, MI, Mrs. G.B. Moores, Mrs. E.D. Stone and Miss Lucy Cornelison, all of Waco; brother, Walter Cornelison of Waco. Funeral services were held Wednesday in the Irvine Medthodist church with burial at Richmond Cemetery, at the family plot. Active pallbearers were T.A. Christopher, G.B. Moores, A. J. Christopher, E.D. Stone, W. M. Christopher and Ernest Christopher; honorary pallbearers were C.D. Wood, J.A. McDowell, Stone Glass, Troy Snowden, Leonard Tudor, J.A. Allen, J.J. Johnstone and Ernest Barker.
