Louise M. Eline Cornbower, of McSherrystown, entered into God's eternal care February 7, 2010, in Hanover.

Born January 10, 1926, in Hanover, she was the daughter of the late John H. and Mamie S. (Bankert) Sterner.

Louise retired in 1992 as a seamstress with Aneco, formerly Middleburg Manufacturing in Hanover.

She was a member of Annunciation BVM Catholic Church in McSherrystown, the Hanover Home Association, McSherrystown Women of the Moose, Amvets Ladies Auxiliary, and the Hanover VFW.

Louise enjoyed traveling, photography, sewing, and quilting until recently.

She was the wife of Elroy A. Eline, who died October 7, 1968, and Charles Cornbower Sr., who died May 5, 1995, and is survived by her daughter, Louise Brilhart and husband, Robert of Hanover; a son, John Eline and wife, Jayne of Hanover; five grandchildren, Dirk Brilhart, Lisa Cleveland, Jill Brilhart, Abby Torrance, and Ashley Eline; four great-grandchildren; two brothers, Malcolm Sterner and Harold Sterner, both of Hanover; a sister, Ruthetta Maloney of Hanover; her special friend and companion, Francis Redding of McSherrystown; and nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her brother, Robert Sterner.

Interment was in Annunciation Cemetery, McSherrystown.
