Christa Marie Corman, one of five children of Chris and Petra Ericksen Petersen, was born on a farm near Cordova, Neb., Oct. 11, 1894. She died in the Presbyterian Hospital in Denver May 24 at the age of 94 years, 7 months and 13 days.
Dec. 31, 1914, she was united in marriage to M. Grover Corman in the home of her parents. This union was blessed with five children. They lived in Superior for many years. In 1949, she and her husband moved to Idaho. After the death of her husband May 19, 1957, she moved to Denver where she had made her home with her daughter.
Mrs. Corman was a member of the First Church Of The Nazarene in Denver.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Grover; two sons, Wilson H. and Donald Corman; and one daughter, Yvonne D. Corman.
Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Shelburne Hendricks (Wanda), Denver; son, Arley, Romulus, Mich.; six grandchildren, Gary Hendricks of Denver, Nancy LaChance of Romulus, Larry Corman and Denis Corman of Taylor, Mich., Wayne Corman of Berea, Ohio, and Dennis Corman of Wyandottoe, Mich.; eight great grandchildren; and many other relatives.
The funeral was Saturday at 2 p.m., from the Megrue-Price Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Leland Smith, pastor of the Church of The (sic) Nazarene officiating. Burial was in Evergreen Cemetery.
