Keith Valdean Corman, 79, the son of Farmer A. and Grace M. (Virchow) Corman, was born Dec. 22, 1922, on a farm near Oak. He died Friday at the Hallmark Care Center, Omaha, as a result of leukemia.
He attended Blue Valley School through the eighth grade and graduated from Nelson High School in 1941.
After high school he was a tool salesman in Omaha. He enlisted in the Army Air Corps and served as an aerial engineer.
After his discharge Keith worked several years in Sun Valley, Calif., as a parts manager for Commerical Brake Services, Inc.
He moved to Oak in 1990. He was a member of the American Legion Post in Nelson.
Preceded in death by his parents; he is survived by three brothers, Robert, Amarillo, Texas, John, Oak, and Clayton, Ft. Worth, one sister, Mrs. Albert Ahrens (Helen), Nelson.
Services were held Monday from the First Community Church in Oak.
The Rev. David Sellers and James Dresser officiated.
Interment with military rites was in the Oak Cemetery.
Williams Funeral Home of Superior, was in charge of arrangements.
