| Birth: | May 25, 1954 Fairfield Clay County Nebraska, USA | | Death: | Sep. 30, 1975 Adams County Nebraska, USA |  Roger Corman, 21, died in a car semi-truck accident early Tuesday morning, September 30, a half mile west of the fertilizer plant on highway #6 near Hastings.
Corman was a 1972 graduate of Nelson High School.
Survivors include his mother, Daphne of Nelson; father, Clayton of Ft. Worth, Texas; 6 brothers, James of Ft. Jackson, South Carolina, Michael of Superior, Richard and Douglas of Ruskin, Steven of Hastings and Mark of Nelson; 2 sisters, Kathy (Mrs. Denis Moore) of Edgar and Barbara of Nelson; and a grandfather, Alvin Whitehead of Richmund, California.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, October 2, at 2:00 p.m. in the Oak Community Church with Rev. Victor Schwarz and Rena Ouding officiating. Burial will be in the Nelson Cemetery. Klawitter Funeral Home, Nelson, is in charge of the arrangements.

Roger Dean Corman was born May 25, 1954, at Fairfield, Nebraska. His life was taken in an automobile accident near Hastings, Nebraska, on September 30, 1975. He was 21 years old.
Roger had lived near Oak, Nebraska, for 18 years and attended the Nelson High School. He was active in all types of sporting events both in High School and at Central Nebraska Community College where he attended for two years. He also participated in summer baseball, community basketball and flag football.
Two years ago Roger moved to Hastings and then to Harvard this past summer. He was employed as a machine operator by Burlington Northern. Roger attended Sunday School and Church at the First Community Church of Oak.
Roger was preceded in death by his brother, Philip.
He is survived by his father, Clayton Corman of Lakeworth, Texas; his mother, Daphne Corman of Nelson; his brothers and sisters, Stephen of Hastings, Douglas of Ruskin; Richard of Ruskin, Michael of Superior, James of Ft. Jackson, South Carolina, Kathy (Mrs. Denis Moore) of Edgar, Mark and Barbara of the home in Nelson; grandfather, Alvin Whitehead of Richmond, California and his fiance, Jeannie Blum of Hastings.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Thursday, October 2, 1975, in the Oak Community Church with Miss Rena Ouding and Rev. Victor Schwarz officiating. Interment was in the Nelson Cemetery. Klawitter Funeral Home, Nelson was in charge of the arrangements.
Casketbearers were Larry Jones, Curt Johnson, Steve Kindig, Wayne Elsey, Stan Eilers and Tom Jensen.
