CORDOVA -- Toney J. Cordova, age 78, beloved and devoted husband, father, grandfather, and brother, entered into Eternal Life, Sunday, December 30, 2007, while surrounded by his loving family. Toney was born in Mesita, CO, and was a resident of Albuquerque, NM. Toney graduated from Menaul High School; he served in the United States Air Force; and worked at Kirtland Air Force Base for many years. He was quite proud of receiving his Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, he always told people it took him 20 years to get but, he did it. Toney received his Bachelor's Degree from the University of Albuquerque; and became a Loan Officer for the Small Business Administration. He was preceded in death by his parents Salamon and Lucita Cordova; and more recently by a son, Rocky Cordova. Toney is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Marinita (Mina) Cordova; three sons, Anthony, Bobby, Leonard Cordova and his wife, Carmen; his precious grandchildren, Anthony, Leonard, Joseph, Jennifer, Cindy, Amanda, and Anna; his great-grandchildren, Mariah, Daniel and Kayla. Also surviving are six sisters, Juanita, Rayna, Josie, Connie, Liz, and Hope; one brother, Mike; and numerous nieces, nephews, and other beloved family members and friends. Toney will be greatly missed by his loving family and friends. Visitations will be Wednesday from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Daniels Family Funeral Services-Alameda Mortuary. A Rosary will be recited Wednesday evening at 7:00 p.m. at Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Church. Funeral Services will be conducted Thursday at 9:00 a.m. also at the Church. Interment will follow at Sandia Memory Gardens. Casket bearers will be Anthony Cordova Jr., Leonard Cordova Jr., David Cordova, Chris Trujillo, Robert Gallegos, and Jaime Tigges. Honorary bearers will be Herbert Cordova, Ricky Cordova, and Kenny Cordova.
