RINGSTED — Funeral services for Mrs. Bessie Corderman,75, Ringsted, will be Wednesday at 2 p.m. at the Presbyterian Church, Rev. Robert 0. Hickman, officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Cemetery.

She was born Bessie Garnet Bright, Dec. 6,1891, at Bloomington, IL, to Addison and Minnie Bright.

She married Ellis C. Corderman, Aug. 28, 1912 at Rockwell City, where they farmed until 1918 when they moved to the Ringsted area. They retired and moved into Ringsted in 1953. Mr. Corderman died in 1960. Mrs. Corderman was a resident of Valley View Nursing Home, Armstrong, for two years.

She is survived by one daughter,Lois Lavonne (Mrs. Norman Jensen), Ringsted, and four sons, Marvin, Robert and Beryl of Armstrong and Dale of Cairo, Mo. Also 18 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren; and one brother, Vane Bright, Sac City; two half-brothers,Bernard Baxter, Newell and Ross Baxter, Winterset; a halfsister, Mrs. Elizabeth Wingert, Denver, Colo.

Friends may call at Thomas Funeral Home Tuesday afternoon until time of services on Wednesday.
