Grace Winn Corbridge died Wednesday, October 13, 2010 in Redmond, Washington, after a long illness.

She was born August 29, 1917 in Preston, Idaho, the fifth child of eight of George S. Winn and Lula C. Winn. She attended Preston High School.

On Dec. 21, 1934, at the age of seventeen, she married Fred Golightly Corbridge in the Logan LDS Temple. In 1943 Fred and Grace moved to Washington Terrace in Ogden, Utah and in 1948 they moved to South Ogden.

She was a full time mother of four; two sons, Richard and Rodger and two nephews, Jan and Don Mikesell. She was very active in the LDS church. Her passion was her work in the Primary Association for which she received awards.

In 1965 they moved to Huntington Beach, California. Her children were raised and on their own so she worked on the nursing team in convalescent hospitals. In 1975 they served an LDS mission in Southeast Missouri. She kept a diary of their work which is full of choice experiences which cause the soul to glow.

In 1977 they returned to South Ogden. Age was beginning to slow her down, but she continued her work in the church and temple. She also began providing in-home nursing care for Fred, who was experiencing a very debilitating illness.

In 1989 they moved to Woodinville, Washington, near their son's family, for the additional support needed. In 1991 they moved to St. George, Utah to be near her sister, Opal, where Fred died in 1992. After a short relocation in Ogden, she moved to Redmond Washington in 1993, where she lived the rest of her life.

Mother Grace was a very warm, loving person who believed in always having good thoughts. She had a perpetual dedication to her family, friends, church, and to living a clean life.

She is survived by her two sons, Richard W. Corbridge, of Kirkland Washington; Rodger F. Corbridge, of Hope, Arkansas; and one nephew Jan L. Mikesell, Sandy UT. Her Nephew Don R Mikesell and sweetheart, Fred, preceded her in death. She is also survived by her sister, Opal Manwill, of St. George, Utah.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, October 19,2010 at Lindquist Ogden Mortuary 3408 Washington Blvd. with a visitation from 1:00-1:30 p.m. Interment, Lindquist Washington Heights Memorial Park.
