Madia (Dragone) Coppi, 98, formerly of West Preston Street, Hartford, and a former summer resident at Crescent Beach, Niantic, wife of the late Domenick V. Coppi, died Sunday (January 9, 2000) at Hughes Convalescent Home in West Hartford.

She was born in Noci, province of Bari, Italy, and had lived in Bristol thirty years, moving to Hartford in 1941.

Mrs. Coppi was a communicant of St. Augustine Church, Hartford, and had been an employee of the former Ingraham Clock Co. for many years.

She is survivedbynieces, nephews; grand-nieces and nephews; great-grand-nieces and nephews; and great-great-grand-nieces and nephews including, Frank Addabbo, Luca Addabbo, and Pasquale Addabbo, all of Manchester, Mario Addabbo of Brookline, MA, Laura Carucci ofNoci, (Bari) Italy, Rosa Lippolis of Manchester, and Eloise L. Grella of West Hartford.

The funeral procession will be on Wednesday at 9:00 a.m. from the Sheehan-Hilborn-Breen Funeral Home, 1084 New Britain Avenue, West Hartford, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial celebrated at 10:00 a.m. in St. Augustine Church, Hartford.
Interment will be in Mount St. Benedict Cemetery, Bloomfield.
Calling hours will be held TODAY from 7:00-9:00 p.m. at the Funeral Home.
