Funeral for Sara Elizabeth Copeland, 56, of Arab will be Thursday, Nov. 18, 2004, at 11 a.m. at Arab First Baptist Church with Dr. Paul Murphy officiating and Lawrence Funeral Home directing. The body will be at the church one hour prior to the service.
A graveside service will be held at 3 p.m. at Old Bethel Cemetery in Colbert County with Bro. Roger Houston officiating. Visitation will be tonight from 6 to 9 at the church.
Mrs. Copeland died Monday, Nov. 15, 2004, at Huntsville Hospital. She was born Feb. 14, 1948, in Colbert County to Burl Johnson and Jewel Bradford Johnson. She was a homemaker and an employee of RSVP Marshall County. She was a member of Arab First Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her sister, Martha Johnson.
Survivors include her husband, Lucian Copeland; two sons, Derrick Copeland and Dustin Copeland, both of Madison; one daughter, Deanna Bagwell of Huntsville; two brothers, Dempsey Johnson of Muscle Shoals and Don Johnson of Littleville; and four grandchildren.
