Ralph E. Copenhaver
Ralph E. Copenhaver, 68, of 248 ½ S. Franklin St., Gettysburg, died Saturday morning at Warner Hospital.
He was born in Jefferson, son of the late John and Ellen (Sterner) Copenhaver.
He was a member of the Open Door Church in Chambersburg. He had worked at the Gettysburg College Dining Hall for the last 15 years.
Surviving are his wife, the former Helen I. Beck; children, Anna Mae Copenhaver, at home, Nellie E. Krebs of York, Burnell R. Copenhaver of Littlestown, and Helena M. Bechtel of Norfolk, Va.; seven grandchildren; two brothers, John Copenhaver of Brodbecks, Pa. and Walter Copenhaver of Littlestown, and a sister, Mrs. Blanche Beck of Littlestown.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 10 a.m. at the Monahan Funeral Home, Gettysburg, with Rev. Terry Rhyne and Rev. Paul Hettner, officiating. Interment will be in Evergreen Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home this evening.
