Mrs. Beulah Mae Copas, age 82, Jonesborough, passed away Wednesday, March 12, 2014, at the Johnson City Medical Center.
Mrs. Copas was born in Virginia and daughter of the late George Byrd & Rosa Ellen Bowens . She was also preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Joe Copas; daughter, Karen Denise Garst; three brothers, Everette Riner, Willard Riner and G.B. Riner; and half-brother and sisters, Sally Churchwell, Olie Greer, Milburn Riner and Lester Riner.
Mrs. Copas was a member of Faith Freewill Baptist Church.
She was a LPN and a Homemaker.
Survivors include one son, Mark Copas, Chuckey; daughter, Jody Cole, Jonesborough; brothers, Grady Riner and Jackie Riner, both of Kingsport; sisters, Billie Collins, Unicoi, and Suzy Robinette, Kingsport; grandchildren, James Cain, Jonesborough, Brandy Garst, South Carolina, Jesse Cole, Jonesborough, Julie Solomon, Chuckey, Adam Copas, Johnson City, Jamie Copas and Bekah Copas, both of Chuckey; cousin, Gregg Flemings, Elizabethton.
Funeral services will be conducted at 8:00 PM Friday, March 14, 2014, at the Dillow-Taylor Funeral Home with Pastor Steve Davis officiating.
The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 PM Friday prior to the service.
Interment services will be conducted at 11:00 AM Saturday, March 15, 2014, at Fairview Cemetery. Pallbearers will be family & friends.
