MIDDLEBURY — Esther R. Baker (Cooper), 86, of Middlebury, passed away peacefully at home Friday, March 9, 2012, following a courageous battle with cancer.
She was born Dec. 18, 1925, in Maumee, Ohio, where she lived 55 years before moving to Middlebury.
She was the beloved mother of Linda Howard of Traverse City, Mich., Terry Null of Aurora, Ill., Ellen Kunisch (Karl) of Middlebury, Nancy Moss (David) of Leesburg, Fla., and Leigh Wilson (Robert) of New London, Ohio. Nine grandchildren and six great-grandchildren survive.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Malcolm and Esther (Rehklau) Cooper; brother Carlton Cooper; and sister Athlie Cooper.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Maison-Dardeen-Walker Funeral Home, Maumee, with funeral services at 10 a.m. Monday. Burial will be in Toledo Memorial Cemetery, Sylvania, Ohio.
