Mrs. Elizabeth Cooper died Monday evening at the home of her son, L. D. Cooper, in the southeast part of town.
Funeral services were held at the residence Tuesday afternoon and were conducted by Rev. A. L. Jordan and Pastor C. A. Westbrook of the Baptist Church.
Mrs. Cooper had been a member of the Baptist Church for many years.
Interment was in the Rogers Cemetery.
Elizabeth West was born in Middle Tennessee December 25, 1822 and was 87 years, 3 months and 16 days old when she died.
In 1850 she married Caleb Cooper who died a number of years ago.
Four children are still living.
Mrs. Cooper had lived in Rogers for quite a number of years and was well known in the neighborhood of her home.
Living children are: Madison, Louisa, Calvin & Louis)
There is an individual gravestone for Elizabeth? Possibly it no longer exists, since it has been 100+ yrs, so could have been eroded or destroyed by weather.
