COOPER, Amanda TOWNSEND – Mrs. Amanda Cooper, mother of Mrs. A.R. Boyd, died Tuesday morning at the home of the latter in the Blackburn addition at the age of 72 years. Funeral services were held at the Baptist church at Bentonville yesterday at one o'clock and were conducted by the pastor, Rev. M.L. Voyles. Interment was in the Odd Fellows cemetery in that city. The deceased is an old citizen of Benton county and had lived in and near Rogers for the past ten years. She leaves three children, Mrs. Boyd of Rogers, a son who lives in Kentucky and Will Townsend of Oklahoma City, who arrived Monday in time to be with his mothers when she died. Mrs. Cooper was a member of the Baptist church and had been a Christian nearly all her life. She was a most estimable woman and her life had been full of deeds of love and kindness.
