Age 86. A native of Citronelle, Alabama and longtime resident of Mobile, Alabama died on Saturday, April 15, 2000 at a local health facility. She was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, longtime employee of Bellingrath Gardens. She is preceded in death by her husband, John Henry Cooper. She is survived by a devoted nephew, Robert L. Cooper (Arlette McNorton) of Mobile, AL, and nephew, William John Cooper of Los Angeles, CA; two great-nephews, Michael David Cooper of Mobile, AL, and Matthew Aaron Cooper of Atlanta, GA; cousins, Ed Wayne (Louise) Gartman of Saraland, AL, Dorothy (Bob) Long of Mobile, AL, Laura Mae Gartman of Eight Mile, AL, and Herbert (Mary) Byrd of Mississippi; numerous other cousins and other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, April 18, 2000 at 11:00 AM from the chapel of Radney Funeral Home. Interment will be in Mobile Memorial Gardens.
